On behalf of the HR consulting firm ESIS Medical we are seeking, for a municipally operated healthcare network in southern Germany with multiple hospital and medical care center locations and close integration between outpatient and inpatient care, an experienced professional to join as soon as possible in the role of Specialist in General Medicine / Internal Medicine at the medical care center.
The family practice is part of a municipally operated hospital network in southern Germany with direct ties to a regional hospital specializing in specialized care. General practice, surgery, internal medicine, and orthopedics work closely together at the facility—collegial exchange and interdisciplinary coordination are an integral part of daily life.
This position is being filled as a replacement—a full-time cashier position is available. Experienced colleagues are already working at the location and will actively assist with the onboarding process. Job-sharing arrangements are expressly encouraged: The location is intentionally designed around team structures so that no one feels isolated, either professionally or organizationally. There are no night or weekend shifts.
What We Offer:
- Attractive compensation structure based on the TV-Ärzte/VKA collective bargaining agreement at the senior physician level; Fixed salary of approximately €120,000–130,000 per year plus variable components—total compensation of approximately €140,000–150,000 is realistic.
- True work-life balance: outpatient work with no night or weekend shifts, flexible work schedules—including full-time, part-time, job-sharing, or a 4-day workweek—31 days of vacation, and 5 contractually guaranteed days for continuing education.

Your qualifications:
- Board-certified physician (gn) in general practice or board-certified physician in internal medicine with a focus on primary care.
- A passion for collaborative work and team-oriented structures, as well as an interest in a long-term career as a family physician with regular working hours in an outpatient setting.
- A patient-centered, empathetic demeanor, as well as a structured and independent work style; proficiency with digital practice management systems, including speech recognition, is a plus.
Your responsibilities:
- General medical care and primary care for a wide range of outpatients; diagnosis, counseling, and long-term care for patients with chronic conditions.
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with the network’s in-house and outpatient departments; conducting general practice consultations, as well as preparing structured medical reports and maintaining complete documentation of services provided.
- Participation in team-oriented clinical processes; collaboration with external departments and referring physicians within the network.
