On behalf of ESiS Medical We are looking for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist (M/F/G) for an established medical care center.
Our client combines the security of a regionally based hospital group with the independence of modern outpatient care. Several hospital and medical care center locations collaborate across sectors and treat approximately 38,000 inpatients and about 100,000 outpatients each year.
This position offers the opportunity to continue leading an established gastroenterology unit with a high degree of clinical autonomy—without the financial risks associated with running your own practice. Your qualifications:
- Board-Certified Specialist (gn) in Gastroenterology
- German Medical License
- Extensive experience in diagnostic endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract
- Proficient knowledge of abdominal ultrasound
- Interest in outpatient care and working independently
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration
- A structured, quality-oriented, and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work well with others and a collegial demeanor
- German language proficiency at least at the C1 level
Your responsibilities:
- Performing outpatient gastroscopies and colonoscopies
- Performing Abdominal Ultrasound Examinations
- Support for Gastroenterology Clinics
- Care for patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases and long-term gastroenterological conditions
- Independent administration of outpatient sedation
- Documentation of all findings and preparation of structured medical reports
- Close collaboration with primary care physicians and specialists who refer patients
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the medical center and hospital network
- Contributing to the further development of gastroenterology services
