Description

Radiologist at the Medical Care Center (gn)

At Polaris Executive Partners , we view a career not as a one-time change, but as a strategic journey. As a specialized boutique executive search firm with a proven track record in building and developing organizations, we support candidates personally, discreetly, and with clear processes.

On behalf of the recruitment consultancy ESIS Medical we are seeking, for a municipally operated healthcare network in the Lake Constance-Alps region—which includes several hospital and medical care center locations as well as its own health academy—an experienced professional to fill the position of Specialist in Radiology at the Medical Care Center (gn).

The radiology medical care center is part of a municipally operated hospital network in the Lake Constance-Alps region with a direct connection to a regional hospital specializing in specialized care. The departments of radiology, surgery, internal medicine, and orthopedics work closely together at this location—personal patient contact and interdisciplinary coordination are integral parts of daily practice.

The range of services includes MRI, CT, mammography, and conventional X-ray diagnostics, with a focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues, as well as teleradiology—excluding interventional radiology. The volume of examinations is deliberately kept at a moderate level. There are no night or weekend shifts.

What We Offer:

  • Attractive compensation package in accordance with the TV Ärzte/VKA collective bargaining agreement, including a company pension plan (ZVK); fixed salary of up to approximately €160,000 per year plus variable components—total compensation of up to approximately €200,000 is realistic.
  • True work-life balance: outpatient work with no night or weekend shifts, flexible full- or part-time work schedules, 31 days of vacation, and 5 contractually guaranteed days for continuing education.
  • Reduced administrative burden from day one: established practice management and billing systems, speech recognition systems, and digital reporting processes—so you can focus on medicine.
  • Institutional support from a municipal consortium: company daycare spots, vacation care, Wellpass, Jobticket, Jobrad, discounted cafeteria meals, and a lifetime work model with a time savings account.

Your qualifications:

  • Board-certified specialist (gn) in radiology with extensive experience in MRI diagnostics—specialization in orthopedic and musculoskeletal imaging is a plus.
  • A passion for patient-centered, interdisciplinary work, as well as an interest in outpatient practice with regular working hours and a deliberately moderate caseload.
  • A structured, independent work style and proficiency in using digital reporting and documentation systems, including speech recognition.

Your responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and performance of radiological examinations: MRI, CT, mammography, conventional X-rays, and teleradiology; providing patient education and personalized care in the day-to-day practice setting.
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration with the network’s outpatient and inpatient departments; preparation of structured medical reports and comprehensive documentation of findings.
  • Optional: Participation in clinical radiology services within the hospital network, subject to individual agreement.

We look forward to receiving your detailed application materials.
