On behalf of the recruitment firm ESiS Medical we are seeking a board-certified specialist in anesthesiology (male or female) for a municipally operated specialty care hospital in the East Westphalia-Lippe region to work in the outpatient surgery center of the affiliated medical care center (MVZ).
The hospital is an academic teaching hospital with approximately 400 beds and a wide range of surgical services. Several surgical specialties, as well as other surgical and internal medicine departments, ensure comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for the region.
The outpatient surgery center is located in a medical center directly on the hospital grounds and works closely with the Department of Anesthesiology as well as private practitioners specializing in various surgical fields. The facility has four modern operating rooms and a recovery room with 16 beds. The range of surgical procedures includes operations from various surgical disciplines, including general and visceral surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Your qualifications:
- Board-Certified Specialist (gn) in Anesthesiology
- Extensive clinical experience in providing anesthesiological care to surgical patients
- Experience in outpatient surgery is a plus
- Taking personal responsibility in the selection of anesthetic techniques
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration with various surgical specialties
- A team-oriented and collaborative work style
- Good German language skills for communication in everyday clinical practice
Your responsibilities:
- Preoperative Patient Education Regarding the Planned Anesthesia
- Performing Anesthesiological Procedures in an Outpatient Surgical Setting
- Monitoring and Care of Patients in the Recovery Room
- Collaboration with private practitioners and hospital physicians from various medical specialties
- Assisting with the organization of the surgical process at the outpatient surgery center
- Ensuring safe and patient-centered anesthesiological care
- Documentation and Quality Assurance in the Field of Anesthesiology
Salary:
80,000–140,000 EUR/year
