Our client operates a high-quality primary care facility in Saxony-Anhalt and serves as an academic teaching hospital for Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The hospital’s departments include the Department of Internal Medicine, specializing in cardiology and gastroenterology; the Department of Surgery, covering general and visceral surgery, trauma and reconstructive surgery, and orthopedics; In addition, there is a Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, an emergency room, and a Center for Vascular Medicine. A radiology practice equipped with CT and MRI scanners is located on the premises.
We are looking for a
Chief of Anesthesiology/Intensive Care Medicine (m/f/d)
Here’s what you can expect
- As chief medical officer, you are responsible for the clinical and organizational management and leadership of the clinic, as well as its ongoing development,
- Continuing education for resident physicians in anesthesiology,
- Participation in the on-call system would be desirable,
- We foster collaborative exchanges with other departments within our hospital at the intersection of the operating room and intensive care, with the goal of achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Board-certified anesthesiologist with many years of experience and/or leadership responsibilities in anesthesiology and/or critical care medicine,
- Ideally, you will have the subspecialty certification in “Intensive Care Medicine” as well as additional training in emergency medicine,
- strong social skills and empathy toward patients,
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work well with others, and a friendly, outgoing personality.
